Day itinerary

  1. 1
    Hotel pick-up & Elephant Cave

    Your guide picks you up by truck from your hotel and drives about 20 km north of Vang Vieng town to Ban Thamxang village. Visit Elephant Cave (Tham Xang) — a small cave in the middle of the village where you can see traditional life, limestone formations, an elephant-shaped stone statue, and Buddha statues.

    Water cave tubing

    After the Elephant Cave, your guide leads you to the Water Cave (Tham Nam) where you go inside the cave using tubes.

  3. 3
    Kayaking on the Nam Song

    Kayak on the Nam Song River back towards Vang Vieng town — about one hour on the water.

  4. 4
    Lunch break

    When you reach the end point, enjoy a one-hour break for lunch and relaxation.

  5. 5
    Buggy to Nam Xai viewpoint

    Drive a buggy car directly to Nam Xai viewpoint. Climb for about 30 minutes to the top and spend around 1.5 hours enjoying the views.

  6. 6
    Blue Lagoon 3

    Continue by buggy to Blue Lagoon 3 and swim in the clear, cool lagoon.

  7. 7
    Return to town

    Drive the buggy back to town. You arrive around 5:00 PM.

    A tuk-tuk takes you back to town. You arrive around 5:00 PM.
